Meet Anita Lewis, who began working with us as a parts picker and today she is our dedicated shipping coordinator here at HE&M Saw. With 13 years of experience under her belt, Anita has played a crucial role in our operations, from prepping parcels to coordinating shipments of saws and material handling with customers and truck brokers. It's fitting that she started her journey on October 31st—a fun coincidence, especially since she’s a big fan of Halloween!

When asked about her proudest achievement, Anita pointed to the improved organization within the shipping department and the strong relationships she has cultivated with both brokers and customers. She truly enjoys her work, noting that her colleagues feel like family, and she loves what she does every day. Her passion for her role is evident in the way she consistently goes above and beyond to support her team and customers.

Outside of work, Anita cherishes time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, fully embracing every moment with her family. She enjoys traveling to new places and taking motorcycle rides with her husband, Jim. Additionally, she loves crafting and reading, and as someone who appreciates the outdoors, she finds joy in camping, fishing, and gardening.

A fun fact about Anita that her colleagues might not know is that she is related to comedian Jeff Foxworthy—he’s her second cousin! With six grandkids and six great-grandkids (and counting!), Anita has plenty to keep her busy, including work, her hobbies, her growing family, and the sports schedules she enjoys following. She is a proud Georgia Bulldog fan and an avid supporter of the Philadelphia teams in football, hockey, and baseball. We are incredibly grateful to have Anita as part of our HE&M Saw family!
