This December, we're excited to highlight Eric Stogsdill, a dedicated member of our Inspection Department. Eric has been with us since April 2017, and over the years, he has played a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of the equipment we ship to our customers.

Eric plays an important role in our operations by thoroughly checking the electrical wiring, bolts, and all functions of our saws during the final inspection. His attention to detail ensures that every piece of equipment leaving the building is in perfect working condition. He works closely with other departments to resolve any issues that may arise during final assembly, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment to meet our high standards. Whether it's checking for bugs in saw programs during cycle testing or addressing electrical and hydraulic concerns before shipment, Eric takes great pride in his work.

One of Eric’s favorite aspects of his job is the camaraderie and teamwork within the company. He enjoys collaborating with colleagues across departments to solve problems and work through challenges together. This spirit of teamwork is what keeps him motivated each day. The strong relationships he’s built with his coworkers not only make the work more enjoyable but also drive the team toward continuous success.

Early on in his career here, Eric took the time to shadow and learn as much as he could from his colleagues. He is extremely proud not only of his work ethic but also of the extensive knowledge of our company that he has acquired over the years. His well- rounded understanding of our processes has made him an even more valuable member of the team.

Outside of work, Eric has a passion for music—both listening to it and creating his own. He plays the guitar and saxophone and has fond memories of getting together with his friends on Friday nights for jam sessions. Eric enjoys expressing himself through music and staying active with outdoor activities such as frisbee and disc golf, using these pursuits as a way to recharge and maintain a balanced lifestyle.

A fun fact about Eric: He has a love for math and numbers, which always came naturally to him. In high school, he joined the academic team and competed in academic bowls, where lightning rounds were often math-themed. This sparked his curiosity and led him to memorize the mathematical constant Pi to over 100 decimal places! His attention to detail and dedication clearly extends beyond his work and into his personal interests.
