Employee Spotlight!!! – Ronnie Barfield III
February 25, 2025For March, we’re excited to feature Ronnie Barfield, our Lead Assembler, who has been an essential part of the HE&M Saw team for nearly 24 years. Ronnie’s journey with the company reflects his strong work ethic, dedication, and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges.
Ronnie started his career at HE&M Saw in the paint shop, and over the years, he has grown into the role of Lead Assembler. He has worked in several areas, including pre-assembly, feed assembly, verticals, and large machines and prototypes. His knowledge and hands-on experience make him a vital resource for the team. Whether he’s building saw machines part-by-part or stepping up to lead when the assembly manager is away, Ronnie is always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.
When asked what he enjoys most about working here, Ronnie shared, “I like the people I work with, and that it’s not just an everyday assembly line.” He also enjoys working on the bigger machines with custom parts, as it helps switch up the usual workday.
Outside of work, Ronnie is passionate about BMX. He runs Overflow Trails, a BMX dirt trail that he has helped build and maintain over the years. He is highly dedicated to this sport, as he spends a lot of his free time constructing dirt jumps for riders to enjoy. Ronnie also has a deep love for freestyle BMX, real music, and anything off-road related.
Ronnie’s commitment to his craft, his job, and his community makes him a true standout here at HE&M Saw. His positive attitude is admirable to everyone around him. We’re grateful for everything he does and look forward to many more years of working alongside him!
